Longital + Tante Elze

Longital and Tante Elze concert will take place in Žilina on October 24.

For 25 years, Longital have been known for their original combination of poetic lyrics, Shinya's charismatic vocals, stringed bass lines and Dan Salontay's inimitable guitar. The playful and constantly experimenting Longital come to Žilina to present their fourteenth studio album The country runs down its own shore and they will team up with Tante Elze in a double concert.

The novelty brings an intimate and experimental sound journey - from acoustic instruments to electronic layers to a unique voice. The lyrics open up space for internal questions of being, joy and transience, and the album is an invitation to stop, listen undisturbed and return to what is essential.

Tante Elze will be the guest of the evening. Her music combines electronic and rhythmic soundscapes with polished melodies and mature Slovak lyrics about motherhood, relationships and the search for meaning. In terms of genre, she remains true to her eclecticism – a combination of contemporary classics, experiments, jazz, ambient and alternative pop. The current album Ody was nominated in the Album of the Year category - Journalist Award in the Radio_Head Awards 2024.
