Lucia Svobodová Vrana: The Duck after, confessing an extraordinary plastic toy, ducks
"Catastrophic anti-greenwashing eco-bio-bio-processistic solo of a documentary about a tragedy of one duck." In a bold work focused on environmental problems, you will experience a story that begins with a real event. In 1992 he dropped out of a cargo ship, during a storm a boat container full of plastic toys, of which a large part of the yellow ducks. Thanks to them, oceanographers were able to describe how ocean currents work. But our heroine is different, exceptional. He does not want to jump out of the container, wants to find a friend for whom it was made, but gets into the spar of bad dirty Denis. A game full of humor, along with serious themes, creates a contrast that gives the performance strength, dynamics and inner tension. The funny and gentle songs of the main character offer a penetrating view of her interior as a living being, she wants to be useful, but she meets a cruel reality. In the story, we encounter topics such as wasting food, plastic water pollution, discharge of toxic waste waste waste, tanker crash in the pursuit of profit, struggle for followers and profit from disasters or Greenwashing itself - abuse of ecological themes in favor of the world of consumption.
