📚 The Theater Institute and the University of Performing Arts cordially invite you to the ceremonial presentation of the new publication
👗 Ľudmila Brozmanová-Podobová – Costumes, memories, facts,
which will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 5 p.m. 📅 at Studio 12 – Narrative at Jakubovo námestí 12 in Bratislava. 📍
As one of the first professional costume designers in Slovakia, she elevated the costume from a craft element to a full-fledged part of the artistic conception of the production and significantly influenced the shape of modern Slovak theater. ✨
The book connects personal memories, professional studies and extensive pictorial material, thus creating a complex portrait of one of the most important personalities of Slovak costume creation. 🖼️
👥 The author team of the publication will participate in the presentation. The authors of the texts are Hana Cigánová, Ľudmila Brozmanová-Podobová, Zdenka Pašuthová, Iva Mojžišová, Nadežda Lindovská, Vladimír Štefko and Alžbeta Vakulová. The graphic design of the publication was prepared by Dominika Valentovičová. 🎨
