LUKAS OSCAR is an up-and-coming singer, songwriter and Music producer with Filipino roots who lives in Vienna. With his powerful, melancholic voice, he captivates listeners from the first note. Even as a child, Lukas showed a natural feel for music: he started playing the piano at the age of six - inspired by his mother's passion for karaoke and the songs of Alicia Keys. At 14 he immersed himself in music production, at 17 he was already writing and producing for other artists - and commuted between his hometown and Vienna.
In 2020, LUKAS OSCAR was co-author of the Bulgarian entry "Tears Getting Sober" for the Eurovision Song Contest - a song that received a lot of praise before the competition was canceled due to the pandemic. But Lukas did not allow himself to be discouraged and continued to develop. His debut EP Colors of A VOID was released in 2022, an honest, unvarnished examination of his innermost being - full of emotional lyrics and soul-soaked melodies.
With his first album The Fun Never Ends!, which has already been released, LUKAS OSCAR is now causing even more of a stir. The record deals with themes such as self-criticism, obsession, existential questions and the pressure of competition - and thus hits a nerve. Two singles from it, Bloodhound and Life Keeps Flashing, made it into the charts and further strengthened Lukas' musical influence. For the release, he played his first headline concert with his band - a sold-out house and an unforgettable milestone in his career.
Despite all these successes, his music remains introspective and empowering at the same time - an invitation to the audience to accompany him on a journey full of self-reflection and emotional honesty. With The Fun Never Ends, LUKAS OSCAR establishes himself as one of the most exciting new voices in the current music scene.
