About event
"POVESTEA DORULUI", the new album of LUPII, will contain the latest compositions by the author, but also pieces from the cultural heritage interpreted in the artistic vision of Alex Calancea.
At the end of 2024, LUPII released the first track on the album entitled Vai, sarmana turturică, a tribute to the performer Maria Drăgan, a legend of Moldovan folklore.
Alex Calancea: “The turtledove symbolizes the tragic fate of Mary — a bird that sings of its pain and longing, but does not give up its song. Like Mary, the turtledove sings of loss and pain, but with a voice that expresses hope. We tried to capture this duality, keeping alive the memory of an artist who left a deep mark on Moldovan folklore."
CONCERT INFO:
Access to the event is from 19:30, and the concert will starts at 20:30.
