British singer and songwriter Lucy Hopkins, performing under the name Lusaint, combines the delicacy of jazz with the emotion of modern pop and the depth of soul. She appeared on the music scene in 2019, when her cover version of Don't Let Go recorded a record number of searches on Shazam in Great Britain and attracted the attention of media such as BBC, Rolling Stone, Wonderland and Notion.
In her own work, Lusaint proves that she can combine melancholy with hope and vulnerability with inner strength. The debut EP Self Sabotage (2024) was followed a year later by the EP Apothecary (Pt. 1), on which she presented a more mature, sophisticated sound. Her songs are personal and emotional statements about love, loss, self-healing and new beginnings.
Lusaint enchants with an authentic, raw voice that can silence the whole hall and transfer emotion directly to the listener. Her musical style is often compared to Adele, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone or Amy Winehouse.
Czech listeners could meet her talent in 2024 at the Metronome Prague festival and a year later at the O2 universum, where she performed as Calum Scott's opening act.
