Lydia Lunch met Alan Vega and Martin Revo from the band Suicide when she arrived in New York at the age of 16 in the late 1970s. The first concert she attended was a real shock for her, the discovery of a new form of concert, a total show, theatrical, free, violent. Since then they have had a close relationship, both artistic and friendly, with Lydia Lunch performing on tour and on Suicide's "Frankie Teardrop" album, and in 2010 she sang a duet with Alan Vega on Alan Vega and Marco Hurtado's "Sniper" album.
Marc Hurtado, met Alan Vega and Lydia Lunch already on the album "Etant Donnés's RE-UP Be" in 1999, and in 2013 he founded the My Lover The Killer project with Lydia Lunch, which they recorded and released as an album and play in concerts.
Since 2014, Lydia Lunch and Marc Hurtado have continuously joined forces for this project, based on of songs by Suicide and Alan Vega, in which it is a kind of sonic "Blitzkrieg" and a visual shamanic ceremony where both artists burn their souls in the volcanic heart of the music Suicide and Alan Vega.
