At the request of participants in previous power game workshops, the desire for (analog) in-depth workshops on the topic arose. The analogue in-depth workshops are open to everyone who has already attended one or more of Sarah Bansemer's status workshops (whether online or analogue) or has already had contact with the topic.
If you want to get started with the topic from scratch, There are online workshops for the basics in my events.
Two people approach each other on the street. Someone has to get out of the way...
We humans play status games with each other all day long. Sometimes we are in high status, sometimes in low status and very often somewhere in between. However, the word status has nothing to do with static... on the contrary. It describes a power differential that works regardless of social status and is experienced by us every day in a variety of ways - sometimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously, with friends, family, work colleagues and strangers.
For the stage (and life) we need status behavior in order to make the relationships between characters clear and to be able to change them.
With the help of improvisational theater, we try out status in the "Power Games" workshop and train our awareness of status changes in ourselves and our counterparts.
In improvised scenes we test different status states and status changes. Together we look at how status behavior affects the other person and how it is used strategically on stage and in everyday life.
NOTE: So that people with previous illnesses and a special need for protection can also take part, a daily negative rapid Covid test is a prerequisite for participation in the analogue workshops. Rapid tests are available on site free of charge.
(Number of participants: 6-12 people)
Cost: €45 / participant
Where: Studio in motion, Brandenburgische Straße 46, 10707 Berlin
Participation requirements:
Daily negative rapid test (please show it upon arrival or do it directly on site, tests are available on site)
