musical in two parts
In the early sixties, a typical Angelföld family defected - and then returned: the Fenyős. By now, young Miki (Ricky in our play) has been deeply ingrained in everything that can mean America to a teenager: chewing gum, Marlboro, Hawaiian shirts, Ballantines and, above all, rock and roll. Influenced by his outdoor experiences and an obsessive record collecting radio engineer, he decides to found a band. They sneak an amplifier out of a shoebox and a nightstand, and all you need is a few good friends to get Viva Rock and Roll roaring in the Szent István park, in the Fémmunkás rehearsal room, at the Tisza street street party. And Hungária was created.
