Claudio Monteverdi - Modern music of poetry
The concert program of the ensemble Le nuove musiche will present the love madrigals of the phenomenal composer Claudio Monteverdi. The madrigal Cruda Amarilli, which causes contradictions among theoreticians, will be heard, as well as other madrigals from Monteverdi's 6th and 7th books of madrigals.
The audience will thus hear the development of Claudio Monteverdi's compositional style from polyphonic works without basso continuo accompaniment to his dramatic and extremely expressive works stille concitato or stille rappresentativo. In addition to five excellent singers, instruments such as arpa doppia, viola da gamba, baroque guitar and chitarrone will be presented on stage. mezzo-soprano
Matúš Šimko - tenor
Juraj Kuchar - tenor
Václav Jeřábek - bass
Jakub Mitrík - chitarrone - artistic head
