We invite you to the public event Dating with volunteering with and for the older generation. Come learn how you can turn your time and energy into helping where it's needed most. There are many options and you will surely find your own.

Our invitation to the discussion was accepted by Róbert Bezák, currently the mayor's adviser for care and contact with the elderly.

In the Bratislava region, various organizations are looking for volunteers, including those that work with seniors — whether it is socializing and creative activities in facilities for the elderly, walking with them, arranging and maintaining greenery in the gardens of homes for people in older age.

At the same time, retired people often have an interest and desire to get involved in volunteer programs and activities. One of them was the Čitankovo ​​project, during which they went to preschools to read fairy tales to children.

On Wednesday, May 13 from 5 p.m. in the City Library, Music Studio at Kapucínská 1. We will introduce you to volunteering, you will learn:
• what types of volunteer activities exist in the field of care for the elderly,
• what are the rights and obligations of volunteers and organizations not only in the social field,
• what volunteering can do for you bring,
• how to get started and what you need,
• and we will also answer everything you are interested in about volunteering.
