Tomáš Jamník (Violončelo, CZ) - Violonchele played in Prague at Mirka Škampa, Martin Škamp and J. Chuchra, continued in Leipzig (P. Bruns) and the Universität der Künste in Berlin (J. P. Mintz). He was a scholarshipist of the Karajan Academy of Berlin Philharmonic. He attended master courses with H. Schiff, G. Rivinius, T. Mørk, P. Wispelwey and S. Isserlis. He was also a finalist and holder Pierre Fournier Award 2011 in London. He hosted as a soloist with important Czech and international orchestras, including Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Czech Philharmonic, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra Córdobo and Philharmonio Orchestra London. As a chamber player he performed with M. Kožena, L. O. Andsnes, I. Kahánk, J. Špaček, T. Feldmann, J. Boušková, Pavel Haas Quartet and Dvořák's trio in Rudolfine, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, Elbphilharmonie, Mozaporu, Sapporo Concert Hall Kitara and in Tokyo Metropolitan Theater. In r. 2019 with the Symphony Orchestra of the Czech Radio, he premiered his own modification of Dvořák's cello concert and DUR and the song Narcissus J. R. Dřízal. He premiered the works of contemporary Czech composers (M. Srnka, M. Nemetek, S. Hořínka, M. Ivanović, T. "Floex" Dvořák, O. Kukal). In r. 2011 recorded a complete work for Violončelo A. Dvořák. In Supraphone he published several recordings with the works of Czech composers, o. i. I awarded CD Paths (2022) with violinist J. Špaček.
