About event
The project is a speculative research of the institution and the space of the library as a model of the world with its current cultural, communication and power symptoms. Through the comments and interventions in this model we try to understand its nature and think of its transformation. We use the extensive book fund and its history, as well as scanners, barcode readers and other technologies necessary for the library, but also flowers in the boxes that complete the interior of the building or fish, which live here together with staff and readers.
The project takes place in the Moravian Library and develops as an exhibition, a series of interventions, performances and debates that enter the foyer, to landing, courtyards and study rooms. The team 𝑪𝒂𝒇𝒆 𝑼𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒊𝒂 (composed of Marika Kupková, Katarína Magid Hládeková and Markéta Žáčková) works on the border of fields and generations: connects the team 𝐌𝐙𝐊 with art, student and education 𝐅𝐚𝐕𝐔 𝐕𝐔𝐓 𝐕𝐔𝐓. The low -threshold environment of the library thus brings the current art to a wide audience and at the same time allows you to critically think about the future of institutions that manage, mediate and co -create collective memory.
📚malé, absolutely quiet changes.
