We invite you to another painting course at DOT.
During the three-hour course, we will try painting with acrylic on canvas on a board in combination with pastel and charcoal. You will learn the basic process of conveying the subject using geometric shapes and discover the possibilities of combining painting and drawing approaches.
We will work according to the original work by Jarmila Saba Džuppová, which will serve as inspiration for creating our own painting.
The course lasts 3 hours (17:30 - 20:30) and all necessary materials are included in cene.

The course is intended for teenagers or adults who want to learn, develop their artistic language and are not afraid to create or experiment. Previous experience does not matter - both beginners and advanced students are welcome.
Under the professional guidance of lecturer Andrea Rošková, participants will learn the basic principles of working with acrylic, pastel and carbon - mixing colors, layering, application, working with detail and overall composition. Painting a specific work will allow participants to penetrate deeper into the artistic thinking of the author and at the same time learn how to later apply the acquired procedures in their own work.
The aim of the course is not only to master the technique, but also to perceive art sensitively, with an emphasis on taste, personal expression and conscious creative decisions.

Mgr. art Andrea Rošková is an illustrator / intermedial artist
She studied media and didactic illustration in Pilsen and completed her master's degree at the Department of Intermedia in the Studio of Spatial Communication at VŠVU.
Her main inspiration is ordinary moments, unexpected conversations or changes across society, which she reflects. He has been dealing with drawing and observation of everyday life, sound and experimental drawing techniques for a long time.

in the premises of Jurkovičová teplarna / DOT. espresso bar
The price of the course is 56 euros - the price includes coffee or a soft drink and a small snack, painting supplies + a canvas on a board (41 x 33 cm), which you can take home after painting.
