About event
Artist Gillian Brett in her works MT190en0, P1914s or 1704fpf (2022) exhibited on the poetics of encryption works with the depiction of the universe originally captured by space telescopes. However, it does not leave it in its original state, working with reimagination, redrawing, but also by deformations caused by deliberate damage to LCD screens. All these characters refer to the multilayered work of the work and its distorted notice value caused by constant data transfer. Like Gillian Brett, we will focus on the universe and through the various possibilities of manually copying the photo through the pause papers we create our own version of the space display. Simply, we will try what such transmission of information looks like. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 6th April at 14:00! Parents can join or have children form with our lecturers and in the meantime to go through the Poetics of Encryption exhibition undisturbed. Entry to her is free. You can book your place by e-mail [email protected] until Friday April 4, 18:00. If you do not receive a confirmation from us, it means that the workshop capacity has been filled and your reservation is therefore not valid. Thank you for your understanding. You!
