The exhibition of artists Anna Rusínová and Agata Popik in the Holešovice shaft thematizes the perception of things and their accumulation in the context of digitalized society, as well as the changing ways in which we see them. Objects are no longer mere passive things intended for human use, but speak their own language that mirrors the battlefield of wider power structures and political games. How powerful are the things we use? Are mere objects able to change the rules of the game?

Agata Popik (*1999) is a visual artist from Poland who now creates and lives in Warsaw. In his latest works combining drawing, painting and installation, he mainly creates imaginary landscapes – strange spaces with a liminal, transitional character. For a long time, he has devoted himself to topics that are associated with feelings of special tension and unclear messages that touch on subliminal emotions. In his artistic practice, he also deals with the perception of borders in different contexts, interpersonal tension, transformation or injustice, which he transforms into mysterious urban landscapes. She is primarily interested in the way in which ordinary, everyday objects or situations can cause restlessness and tension. In 2025, she graduated from the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she defended her thesis in the studios of Błažej Ostoj Lniski, Henryk Gostyński and Wojciech Bąkowski. Popik presented her works in solo exhibitions, including Take Me Home at the Przeciąg Gallery in Warsaw (2025) and Chances of sleep are fifty-fifty at the Próżnia Gallery in Szczecin (2023). She also participated in group exhibitions such as Think of Others, Think of Yourself at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (2025), Innocent Sorcerers at the Gray House Gallery in Krakow (2025) and Neue Stimmung at the City Gallery in Gdańsk (2025).

Anna Rusínová (*1998) is a Czech jeweler and visual artist working in Prague, who straddles the border between free art and by design. Her work includes both utilitarian objects and free-standing objects and art installations. He most often expresses himself through silver, although he also works with glass and textiles. Some of her works straddle the border between jewelery and fashion creations – they are unique hybrids, precise in their imperfection, manifesting an aversion to delicate jewellery. It examines how our understanding of objects, their cultural-social role and symbolic function changes over time. It deals with interpersonal themes such as fragility or vulnerability. She graduated from the studio K.O.V. at Prague's UMPRUM. She is one of the co-founders of the association Fuga kolektiv, which brings together ten artists on the border between free and applied art with the aspiration of finding new ways of cooperative presentation. She has had group exhibitions La Vila Fuga (Galerie UM, 2026), Feastopia (Galerie Industra, 2025), Pipeline Dreams (Galerie FaVU, 2025), Crazy Fuga at Spektrum gallery (2024), And her fingertips chose the one that was still rolling at Zaazrak|Dornych in Brno together with Hana Kubešová and Kateřina Houbová (2024), Pipeline Dreams at Galerie FaVU (2025).
