On days 3-5 September 2026, the 7th edition of the Mom, Dad, things are happening festival will take place in the Velký mlýn. The three-day program will offer children, parents and school classes meetings with authors and illustrators, art and sound workshops, theater performances, board games, virtual reality and other creative activities.
Visitors can look forward to, for example, a meeting with the writer Bára Dočkalová, an art workshop with the illustrator Andrea Tachezy, a dubbing workshop with the actor Richard Wagner, a scenic reading by the Kampa Theater or a performance by the Osmikítek ensemble.
The festival will also include board games for young children, reading workshops and a large family game with several stations. Throughout the festival, there will also be a swap of children's books and school supplies.
