The managerial minimum course for beginning leaders is intended for everyone who takes responsibility for a team and wants to learn how to lead people efficiently, humanely and with confidence. During the two-day training, participants will acquire practical skills and tools for their daily managerial practice.

- Beginner leaders, team leaders, masters
- Specialists promoted to a managerial role - People who want to lead others clearly, humanely and effectively
Main objectives of the course:
- Understand the new role and its challenges
- Gain self-confidence when leading people
- Learn to communicate in a clear, consistent and motivating way
- Prevent conflicts, misunderstandings and passivity in of the team
- Know what to do in difficult situations (dissatisfaction, reprimands, dismissal, ...)
- Create trust, support performance and development of people
What you will learn in the managerial minimum course
- In this practical course you will learn how to transition from the role of a colleague to the role of a leader without unnecessary mistakes and stress.
- You will get solid foundations in managing people, communication and work planning. We'll show you how to give feedback, resolve conflicts, and motivate your team to perform and collaborate.
- You'll get practical tools for managing people every day
- You'll get concrete tools and simple practices you can use right away:
- How to conduct a meeting so it's effective
- How to set expectations and evaluate results
- How to handle excuses, conflicts, or misunderstandings
- How to build trust, and while maintaining responsibility in the team
- We train everything based on practical examples.

Day 1 – Basics of leading people
- Most common mistakes of novice leaders
- Building trust and respect
- Assigning tasks and feedback
- Communication types and leadership style
- What if... (model situations that actually happen)
Day 2 – More advanced skills
- Conflict resolution and difficult conversations
- What about passivity, disagreement or sabotage
- Motivation: what really works
- How to foster team spirit
- Conducting conversations about development, mistakes, change
- Own management style and how to develop it further
How the course is conducted
The course takes place in person in a group of max. 8 participants, which enables an individual approach. During two days (9:00–16:00) we combine interpretation, model situations and discussion of real cases.
The course is led by: Jana Mašková
lecturer, therapist and mediator with 17 years of experience in leading positions
