Manon meurt + The Ills + další

Beauty, noise and trembling. Manon meurt are masters of epic gradations and contrasts between quiet and noisy passages. Their music erases all genres and often contains surprising twists, when, in addition to dream-pop, they work with almost grunge-like dense riffs, but also free jazz and subtle electronics. The band, which for several years built its sound on the ruins of shoegaze and the influence of bands such as Slowdive, Lush or Ride, moves forward with the latest record and deviates from the original nineties inspirations. Their latest album Unravel was released on April 26, 2024 on Minority Records.

They will be supported by Slovak post-rock quartet The Ills with their strong and sophisticated sound that combines elements of shoegaze, math -rock and prog-rock. According to the BBC, they are equal to the legends of their genre such as Explosions In The Sky or Mogwai. Manon + Ills will be joined by one of the interesting domestic bands of today. Five-piece Ida The Young, led by frontwoman Iris Hobson-Mazur, hails from Pilsen and has impressive songwriting that doesn't have to hide behind anything. And since the indie singer from České Budějovice will guest on guitar and vocals with Manon meurt at the upcoming concerts, and last year's discovery of the contemporary alternative folk scene Martina Činátlová aka Marjari, it is logical that she will open the whole magical evening with a short intimate solo set.
