Would you like to experience the adventure of finding a lost person with the help of your dog's amazing sense of smell? Are you looking for an interesting joint activity for you and him that you can do all year round and regardless of the weather?
Then we invite you to the first public mantrailing training for beginners, organized by our group Trailing Team Brno.
Mantrailing as a leisure activity is an exciting game of hide and seek for dogs and their owners. It provides dogs with mental and physical stimulation, develops their innate abilities and builds a bond between the dog and its human. It reveals to dog handlers new and astonishing dimensions of the abilities of their four-legged companions and teaches them to perceive the subtle nuances of their behavior.
What can you look forward to at the first training?
In the shorter theoretical part of the training, we will talk about the basic equipment , we will touch on the theory of smell and explain the basic principles of mantrailing and training.
In the longer practical part, we will explain the role of the handler and what to expect from the dog, and we will immediately start with the first short traces, on which the dog starts to learn to connect the smelly object, trace and wanted person.

Place – northern edge of Brno Lišně
Estimated duration: 2-3 hours
Number of participants: max. 4 teams

What you bring with you:
harness with upper guide and 10m tracker (if you don't have it, don't buy it, we'll lend it),
a box with the most popular treats (for 3 feet in total) and a favorite toy
Training is free.
