About event

The traditional gala concert of the ibérica at Špilberk will again dominate Flamenco. Guitarist Manuel Valencia, percussionist Paco Veg and singer Felip del Moreno will be complemented by a star dancer El Choro. He is a close relative of the absolute legends of the genre: the pig of Terremota de Jerez, the nephew of Fernando Terremota and the son of Diego Valencia known as "Tío Cabero". Manuel grew up literally with a guitar under the armpit. His first and most important teacher was Uncle Fernando, who was in charge of leading Manuel to love for music and especially to this instrument. Her singing gradually became the voice of her generation, and especially after the release of Jerezaneando in 2019, the singer gained great recognition in the local and international scene. Felipa is a master of rhythmic styles that can captivate flamenco across his sub -genre. Born in Seville, the cradle of flamenco and in addition to the family who lived with the lively genre, he gained the first rhythm lessons from his father, dancer, Paco Vega. Thanks to his talent, he has become a sought -after musician whose cooperation is sought by the most important flamenco artists such as Farruquito, El Lebrijano, Antonio Canales or Richard Bon. Like his colleague, flamenco genes in their blood, the first dance steps learned from his father, also known as El Choro, who was a famous flamenco dancer. In 1999, when he was only fourteen years old, he confirmed his talent victory in the competition organized by the Cristina Heeren Foundation and decided to move to Sevilly to continue studying Flamenco at the highest level.
