The legendary guitarist Marc Ribot, a real veteran of four decades of all kinds of music circles, scenes and collaborations, will visit Bratislava for the first time. The event in the unique space, the Rudavsky’s Magic Garden art garden, will introduce his special, intimate solo performance with an acoustic guitar. In front of him, Szabó x Bodnárova x Nosál opens. For a number of artists who worked with them. One of the fundamental was Tom Waits and his album Rain Dogs where Ribot was very strongly affected by his game and also influenced this album by a number of guitarists to this day. Other significant cooperations include eg. Definitely Elvis Costello (Spike), Robert Plant and Allison Kraus (Raising Sand) and especially his countless cooperation with the composer, improviser and saxophonist John Zorn. He also has many of his own, at first glance, perhaps stylishly incompatible bands, but all connects its intensity of the game, straightforwardness in creation and ubiquitous punk approach (ceramic dog, shrek, los cubanos POPIZOS, Rootless Cosmopolitans, The Young Philadelphians, The Jazz Bins and others). Solo's work was released by 6 very diverse solo guitar albums: (including Book of Heads by John Zorn, Plays The Works of Frantz Casseus, Saints, Don’t Blame Me, Exercises in Futality) (Village Voice) and ended up on several "top 2010" letters including La Times and others. of his seat. Tom Waitsa's guitar lines. Diverse experience that it can navigate with elegance any song or situation. The song and innovative musicians draw on regional collections and bring original interpretations that respect the archaicity of the melodies while providing space for improvisation. Singing
