I still wonder why horses don't have horns.
I expose the tension between who I am and who I would like to be. Between reality and expectation, effort and result. The desire for refinement, sensitivity. Honesty to what is shown, and to oneself. Absorption of joy from pain, painful happiness from acceptance of reality.
Joyful flickering of the shadow of cheerfully glowing light bulbs. Discovering the mystery of a mythical creature embodied in a mass-produced plastic toy. Rainy view from the window of a long-distance bus somewhere between Tekovská Breznica and Nova Baňa. Digging potatoes in grandpa's garden while daydreaming about Edward Cullen. A premonition of Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees hiding behind a garden shed while Smash Mouth's "I'm a believer" plays from the blaring radio. Searching for instructions on how to keep a piece of Eric Draven in yourself and not become Patrick Bateman.
