About event
The Grammy Award nominated Marcus King in his music faces heart pain, addiction and mental health. The themes are trembling under the vibration of his voice and the singer's speech is burdened with remorse and mistakes in lonely hotels. He will bring his guitar show to the Czech Republic for the first time, where he will perform 1 July in Prague's Lucerna Music Bar. 🎸

Guitarists and grandfather. Under the title "The Marcus King Band", he drove thousands of kilometers and succeeded thanks to his unique performance. In 2020 he joined Dan Auerbach and recorded his solo debut El Dorado, for which he won the Grammy nomination in the category "Best American Album". During the breaks between headliner concerts, he performed alongside Chris Stapleton, Greta Van Fleet and Nathanial Rateliff and also decorated Lineups of festivals such as Stagecoach. Now his 2024 Mood Swings album acts as a moment of baptism, during which he wash away his lifelong sins, degradation and remains only revived but still the real primary "Primal Scream". As if King, under the careful supervision of Rick Rubin, signed the raw soul directly from his bowels up through the broken heart to the plate. More than ever he emphasizes his vocal in the foreground and faithful guitar with which he is so often associated with, this time plays a supporting role (although there is no shortage of impressive shredding). Although the dark was his past, the power of Marcus's voice cannot be felt.
