Marduk likes in Slovakia! In February, they will show off their energetic show in Bratislava
will be the third part of their current tour.
Four vocalists, fifteen studio albums, and in 2025 it will be 35 years on the scene. Swedish ignores Marduk are traveling European stages with their fifteenth studio album "Memento Mori".
In 2024, the tour for this jubilee album had two parts. The first took place during spring, the second is still ongoing and the plan is also the third, which again does not miss Slovakia. Marduk will perform on Sunday 16th February 2025 in the Bratislava club Randal.
Morning band times
Although several sources report that the group was founded in 1991, it was founded in Norköpping a year earlier. The name of the band symbolizes the worshiped patron of Babylon.
The band released in 1991 the legendary demo "Fuckmejesus", the first studio album "Darkendless" was released the day before Christmas in December 1992. Thoseofunlight "and" opus nocturne "replaced the Joakimav Graph. Interestingly, Joakim sat on the debut behind the drums, at the second album to the Bice Set added the already mentioned vocals, the third took only a microphone.
Gold era with Legion and stability with Mortuus
in 1995 came to the band Legion, which Marduk moved to the next level. He recorded 5 studios with the band, including the legendary and immortal "Panzerdivision Marduk" boards of 1999 and the 2003 Worldfuneral.
For several fans it was the golden era of the band, but for twenty years the voice of Marduckaniel Hansjohanrosten is known as the nickname Mortuus. However, several fans have managed to get used to the “calmer” Mortuus style without any problems. Many reviewers call him the best vocalist of this group.
Mortuus came to the band in 2004 and in November of the same year they released the album "Plague Angel". Together is signed on seven recordings.
On the current album, they added the current album "Memento Mori" on this band after an unusually long five -year pause last September. Waiting, however, was worth it, on the still current album hardened and added on aggression and energy. The album is inspired by thoughts about death in ancient times.
Although many fans think Black Metal goes hand in hand with Satanism, it is not at all. “Black Metal is not necessarily associated with something specific. You can be a black metal band and sing about different things. It is more about the spirit of the band and music than the specific topic you do in the lyrics, ”said guitarist Morgan Hakansson in one of the interviews, the only original member of the band
