On the occasion of Maria Antonia's birthday (November 2, 1755), we invite you to a special lecture. PETER BARTA, director of the SNM - Historical Museum at the Bratislava Castle, will present Schönbrunn Palace and the court of Empress Maria Theresa in his lecture, but will also bring up the childhood of her daughter Maria Antonia.
The youngest daughter of the imperial couple was born in Vienna and even before she became Queen Marie Antoinette of France, she spent a happy childhood in the surroundings of Schönbrunn, surrounded by the Austrian imperial court.
