The fate of the last French queen attracts us by the clash of great world -winging events with one human life.
The ruthless course of history will enter the life of a teenage girl without changing anything. Or could she? At fourteen, Austria sent her to France to marry the Crown Prince, in less than twenty she became the French queen alongside Louis XVI. She dazzled with fantastic costumes and eccentric wigs of olbřímí sizes. For fifteen years, Versailles lived in the shiny luxury before her husband's reign was swept away by the revolution. She lost two children. She tried to escape from prison. She died in thirty -seven.
What was it and why was it punished for the pomp of the whole yard? American author David Adjmi (*1973) depicts her as a contemporary girl in captivity of a consumer carousel. The inexhaustible abundance of offers, entertainment and enjoyment employs it as well as today's well -being. We forget that a rich society lives on a debt that is growing somewhere in the deck. How quickly does one have to wake up to avoid devastating elements?
Personal young director Janka Ryšánek Schmiedtová has left a trace at the Czech theater, created a number of award -winning productions and her own lyrics and for several years the ensemble of the Ostrava Theater Petr Bezruč. On the theater website!
