Marie Iljenko and Alexei Sevruk: "And what are you?" More than one cultural identity? Is it wealth? Or complications? The writers Alexei Sevruk and Marie Iljenko will talk about the creation of the border of Czech and Ukrainian culture, the adventure of multilingualism and eternal tornness. Born 1983 in Kiev. He has lived in the Czech Republic since the age of twelve. A graduate of Ukrainian and Slavonic Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. Here he also defended his dissertation on hybrid language phenomena in Ukrainian literature. He works as an archivist in the Litoměřice depository of the National Literature Monument. Together with Miroslav Tomek, he translated the novel Moskoviad Jurije Andruchovych and a collection of Big Mac Stories Serhije Žadan.
