About event

We cordially invite you to the last concert with the band in Prague before the end of the year.

Singer Marie Puttnerová, moving around the Czech music scene in the original compositions Jablkoň, Půljabkoň and Zvíře named Podzim and Martin Novák (Robert Křestťan & Druhá tráva, Lanugo, Blue Shadows, Jaromír Honzák Quintet, David Dorůžka/Robert Fischmann/Martin Novák) connected to create a common musical world made up not only of Puttnerová's original songs, but also a world in which fragments of fragile Jan's poetry set to music can be heard The gardener or the surreal Vlastimil Třešňák. After they invited the Opava guitar wizard Petar Uvira (Ladě, Heimat, Jitka Šuranská, Vladivojna la Chia) to collaborate, there was a joint symbiosis of human voices and electric guitars, which pushed the imaginary boundaries of folk in a captivating and urgent way.

In 2022, however, there was a crucial connection with British producer Eddie Stevens (Druhá trava, Jana Kirschner, Roisín Murphy, Moloko), thanks to which Puttnerová's debut album, Laila tov, was released on April 28, 2023. The original sound of the trio really changed with the joint creation, and so the band expands with a fourth member, composer, pianist and synthesizer player, Martin Brunner (Martin Brunner Trio, The Prague Six, Markéta Foukalová, Klara & The Pop).

Marie Puttnerová with the record Laila tov became the winner of the Album of the Year 2023 poll, which is announced every year by the editors of Radio Proglas. 110 interviewed personalities took part in the survey - publicists, musicians, organizers of concerts and festivals, promoters, as well as selected representatives of radio listeners. 2024 received the winner's award in the Folk category.
