MäRK is a Danish/Swedish art-rock duo whose sound thrives in the borderlands of industrial, electronica, and krautrock — with echoes of Einstürzende Neubauten, Nina Hagen and Suicide. Their music is lyrically charged, pulsing with poetic indignation at injustice, (patriarchal) power structures and climate collapse, yet also reaching for the luminous sparks of human resilience and the soft touch of hope. But rest assured; MäRK always finds the crack where the dark gets in.
The duo consists of Trix Tumblr (vocals, accordion, toy piano) and Knitter Wolf (keys) — (aka Helena Berglund and Christian Rønn).
