The award -winning singer Markéta Foukalová and sought -after pianist Vít Křišťan met at the unusual project. In an unconventional trio - two keyboard instruments and vocal - they represent an adaptation of the symphonic zone. These are eight poems by Věra Koubová, which were set by Martin Brunner for the singer Markéta Foukalová and the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra. The moment, as the whole project is called, naturally connects the worlds of jazz and pop music. Trio Foukalová - Brunner - Křišťan now presents the whole project in the intimate position - the role of the orchestra is provided by piano and Fender Piano. This chamber design thus makes the novel poetics of the poems Věra Koubová excel. The repertoire will be complemented by the free improvisations of these great musicians and will also feature new songs from the upcoming project of the musical poems of Jan Zábrana. The dream compositions of Martin Brunner and the lyrics of the poets and translator Věra Koubová in orchestral were published in June 2022 by the Label Animal Music on the album entitled his moment. Markéta got into the wider nomination of the Angel Awards in the category of the interpreter of the year.
Martin Brunner is a composer, pianist and keyboardist. In his author's projects he cooperates with the most important personalities of the Czech jazz scene. He is one of the significant progressive composers of his generation, under his name he released five author albums. It consists of music for award -winning Big Band Concept Art Orchestra and classic chamber files. The Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra was approached to write a piano concert for the 800. The soloist at the premiere was pianist Slávka Vernerová. As Sideman, he occasionally cooperates with a number of personalities of Czech music scene across genres. It often moves on the border of genres from pop, jazz to electronics or contemporary classical music. It is sought after by leading musical personalities and bodies such as Michal Pavlíček, Michal Prokop, a clear lever and many others. It is worth noting her home band Lanugo, with which he is preparing his fifth album. He teaches singing at the conservatory and leads the successful children's choir Bezity. In addition to teaching and filming, it regularly performs and is part of many music projects (eg Dan Bárta, Robert Balzar Trio). One of the last big achievements is the Prague Six project, which was recorded in cooperation with the Czech Big Band Concept Art Orchestra and was awarded the Angel Award for the best jazz album 2015. 2022.
