Another concert of the Musician series will be the duo of two personalities of the jazz scene - singer Marta Kloučková and guitarist David Dorůžka. The body works very spontaneous and its concerts are currently a laboratory in which it crystallizes the music album. "I've been thinking about the format of the guitar-singing for a long time and I'm glad this cooperation happened with David. It is very inspiring to play with him," Kloučková says about cooperation. “We have compiled the repertoire from the author's work and our favorite songs mainly from the 60s,” adds Dorůžka. But Marta and David reinterpret songs in their own way, in combination with a sensitive approach and the warmth that defines them. Their music is dynamic, delicate and suggestive without lacking lightness.
The Antik of the Dejvice Theater Café this time Martin will sound emotional speech together with David's invention and deep musicality.

Marta Kloučková is an unmistakable part of the young Czech jazz scene. Multi-Žánrová singer, lyricist and composer published in 2018 the author's album called Loving Season (HEVHETIA), which ranked among the best Czech jazz albums of that year, followed by the album of the Dream track (2022). Marta Kloučková Quintet, with whom Marta filmed both albums, consists of musicians belonging to the domestic jazz leader. Together they performed at Czech jazz and multi-devout festivals (eg Prague Spring, Czechoslovak Jazz Festival Přerov, Smetana's Litomyšl, Mladá jazz, MHF Dobršská gate) and abroad (eg Sunset-Sunside, Le Bal Blomet, Paris, Jazz Fest, Jazz Fest Steyr). In addition, Marta is a member of the vocal sextet skett and cooperates with ensembles and musicians across genres (Concept Art Orchestra, D.Y.K. and others). She worked with singers Lizz Wright, Judith Hill and pianist Thierry Maillard. He prepares and moderates the program of the Seventh Heaven on ČRo Vltava. She is a graduate of Jazz VOŠ Jaroslav Ježek and the University of Economics in Prague.
David Dorůžka
Guitarist and composer David Dorůžka is one of the most prominent domestic jazz musicians, often referred to as the leading personality of the Czech jazz scene. He studied guitar and composition at the prestigious American Berklee College of Music and at the championship course for young musicians in Aspen, where in 2000 his lecturers were Herbie Hancock, Brian Blade, Joshua Redman and Christian McBride. The list of musicians and musicians with whom he cooperates or cooperates includes Aga Zaryan, Lizz Wright, Jeff Ballard, Jorge Rossy, Django Bates, Albert Sanz, Rodney Green, Orrin Evans, Kenwood Dennard and many others. He has been performing around the world and long -term stays in the metropolises of New York and Paris. He holds several Angel Awards.
