About event
performance of contemporary dance
SATURDAY 29. 08. | 20:00 | Great Hall, Tabačka Kulturfabrik
In times of uncertainty and anxiety, the question arises: what is pleasure? Pleasure in life, in movement, in dance or in watching dance? The creators are inspired by the phenomenon of choreomania, the "dance plague", which appeared in Europe at different times and united hundreds of people in a common, uncontrollable movement. Dance here becomes a release, a natural and uncontrollable human impulse. It is a dance for everyone, maybe a little banal, maybe a little embarrassing, but at the same time liberating.
Marta Wołowiec (PL) is a Polish dancer, choreographer and teacher, her work has been presented at festivals such as TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA and the New Baltic Dance Festival. Tomasz Pomersbach (PL) studied at the London Contemporary Dance School and collaborated with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin. WoW is their first joint creation.
ADMISSION: 10 € adult / 7 € student, senior, ZŤP
