Finissage: January 18, 2026

Opening hours after registration:

Thurs - Sun from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

And by appointment.

From October 23, 2025, the actor Martin Feifel will show his current paintings in the Tor218 Artlab - Gallery & bar in Berlin. The opening will take place on the same evening at 7 p.m. and the exhibition will run until January 18, 2026.
Feifel is one of Germany's most prominent actors. Cinema audiences know him from the Hölderlin biopic Feuerreiter (director: Nina Grosse, 1998) and Margarethe von Trotta's Rosenstrasse (2003). He was also seen in numerous Tatort productions. He shaped the Bochum Schauspielhaus for ten years, including: with leading roles in Hamlet and Katzelmacher, and later the Thalia Theater Hamburg (The Controversy, Romeo and many more). Most recently he appeared in front of the camera internationally alongside Mads Mikkelsen in The King's Land.
But Feifel is not just an actor: he has been painting passionately since he was 18. After a successful exhibition at the Dürr/Gkotses gallery in Munich, he is now presenting his latest works in Berlin under the title “Fallen Angels”.
“Yes, I know him from television – does he paint now too? Yes, I paint. And that makes me happy,” says Feifel. With a wink he adds: “I fell often, but I'm not an angel.”
The exhibition in the Tor218 Artlab is open every Thursday to Sunday from 7 p.m. At the same time, other cultural events such as English-language stand-up comedy evenings take place there.
*
Only a few days after the finissage, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Martin Feifel will open the exhibition of the South Tyrolean artist Peter Burchia in the Tor218 Artlab and at the same time the event series Culture Against Forgetting 2026.
At the opening, Feifel will read Franz Kafka's story A Report for an Academy, in which he has played the figure of Chimpanzee Rotpeter embodies - a haunting text about adaptation, freedom and the search for ways out of oppressive circumstances.
