Somewhere in Paris, 90-year-old Marie-José Tubiana is expecting a visitor. She worked for a long time as an ethnologist, a specialist in the Darfur region in western Sudan.

The visitors she receives daily do not just come here for tea. They are looking for the necessary help that only this extraordinary woman can provide. Thanks to his knowledge of the Sudan, he is able to verify their stories and enable them to gain a political presence in France. All of them survived the genocide that has affected the population of Darfur since 2003. During each of the visits, the old lady's apartment behind closed doors becomes a witness to intense and intense sharing.
