About event
Dancer and actress Anežka Hessová and composer and multi -instrumentalist Tomáš Reindl have been cooperating since 2000. Originally they met in the dance project Damar (together with Ivana Hessová and Elena Kubičková). They played with Damar at many Czech and foreign festivals. Later they created the Massive Kathak concept, which is now developing and updating. The electro-acoustic world music Omnion with the distinctive style of Anežka Hess combines the traditional techniques of Kathak's dance with acting and musical expression (vocals, accordion).

Tomáš's music draws inspiration from traditional music of the East and West and includes genres from electro-acoustic dowtemp to ecstatic dance music. It creates music suitable for listening and dancing, which she sees as an archetypal human need. Kathak is a traditional dance of northern India, an ancient art that was originally demonstrated in the temples as an invocation of the gods. Today it has developed in a modern form where dancers combine classic techniques with new choreographies and tell stories through movements.
