Master Peace • BADABOUM, Paris • 24 octobre 2024

Master Peace, whose real name is Peace Okezie, expresses through his music the importance of believing in yourself to succeed. He moved from studio sessions with friends to a solo career marked by eclectic music that blends indie rock with Bloc Party and the avant-garde ambition of The 1975. Peace has collaborated with artists like Santigold and The Streets before unveiling his debut album, "How To Make A Master Peace" (released March 1, 2024), reached the Top 30 on the charts and earned him the Rising Star trophy at this year's Ivor Novello Awards.

Growing up in a working-class environment, Peace found in music a source of hope and an escape from personal difficulties. His debut album reflects a mix of harsh reality, optimism and youthful joie de vivre, with tracks that deal with life as a young black man in the UK. Peace seeks to bring people together through his music, tackling complex themes like masculinity, mental health and issues of race.

Master Peace will be in concert to present "How To Make A Master Peace" live on October 24, 2024 at Badaboum in Paris!
