How to write foreign lives?
How was a fat book about Vítězslav Nezval and his son? What does the author's "sysel" method look like and what role did the fact that the author became the mother? The poet and his son, who won the Book of the Year of the Lidové noviny, and finished second in the Sing of the same name N. The author is referred to as a journalistic craftsman, and therefore her book about Nezval, as well as the previous one about film entrepreneur Milos Havel, is purely journalistic. She is convinced that the task of a journalist is, among other things, to mediate information that is not easily available and generally known. The Nezval story, as well as the Havlovsky one, is partly known to literary and film scientists, but the public does not. In MasterClass, he will share his experience with writing biographical books and explain why it is important to put the fate of specific people in context, quote resources and try to avoid black and white vision.
A series of lectures in which distinctive personalities of cultural life speak of their profession and life. The event arises with the financial support of the State Fund of Culture.
