About event
Collectively authorial approach as a way to creative freedom. Director Jiří Havelka will present a gradual phase of the theater production by the “Devising” method. The process of the scenic tests as the application of five "N" - listening, coincidence, naivety, uncertainty, unfinished.
The theater group Vosto5, cooperated with many Czech and Slovak theaters, currently the artistic director of the Dejvice Theater. He collaborated with most professional Prague, Brno and Slovak theaters, and his productions have been awarded many times in the Czech Republic and abroad. During Lock-Down, he transformed the originally intended production for the National Theater on the post-war massacre into Swedish chances in audiovisual anatomy of the mass murder for 34-speaking heads called Eying Witness (2020). In the autumn of 2021 he wrote and directed the audio series Agent mapping the day after the 23 days long dying of former FSB agent Alexander Litvinenka (1st place in the competition audiobook of the year). The lyrics of his elite games and the community of owners are also stated on other stages in Europe. According to his theater play, the community of owners made the film debut owners (2019 won the Czech Film Critics Award and three Czech lions). In 2021, the documentary drama was screened among selected films at the International Documentary Film Festival Ji.hlava. Another feature film in 2022 was an extraordinary event (2021), for which he won 5 awards at the Film Comedy Festival. His latest film directorial achievement is the Zahradníkův year film, which in 2024 was awarded the Trilobit Award and turned one of four nominations in the Czech Lion. Jiří Havelka was a screenwriter of all his films, and also participated in the screenplay of Duchoň (2025, directed by Peter Bebjak). The event arises with the financial support of the State Fund of Culture.
