Yasia Saienko is a musician, singer, actress and vocal coach.
She was born in Lviv, where she received an academic musical education specializing in flute. Since 2019, she has been exploring the voice as an instrument through various vocal and acting workshops and practices. These include cooperation with the actress and researcher of Ukrainian authentic songs Uliana Horbachovska and participation in projects such as the opera myth "Ukraine-Terra Incognita", "Horbachovska septet", "Kolo Rayu".
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Yasia has been actively participating in theater projects in Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic.
Yasia goes beyond genres in her explorations, synthesizing authentic Ukrainian singing, jazz, improvisation, electronic music and academic foundations. A characteristic feature of her work is a fine feeling for folk songs as live material, working with a natural, pure authentic voice and a fine sense of detail. He creates music for performances, conducts vocal workshops and training.
The event takes place as part of the project Culture blooms in the Ghetto with the financial support of the Statutory City of Brno and is free of charge.

In her explorations, she goes beyond genres, synthesizing authentic Ukrainian singing, jazz, improvisation, electronic music, and an academic foundation. A characteristic feature of her work is a subtle sense of folk songs as living material, working with a natural, pure authentic voice, and gentle attention to detail. She creates music for performances, conducts vocal workshops, and training sessions.
