About event
doc. RNDr. Alena Prisdavkova, PhD. (University of Prešov) - Real situations as a way out for learning mathematics
One of the aim of mathematical education is to develop the ability to use mathematical tools in solving problems and proposing strategies of their solutions. I will introduce the possibility of using real situations not only for teaching, but also for learning mathematics at the 1st grade of elementary school. We will work with tasks with the context of real life, the selected strategies of their solutions using different types of representations will be presented. We will look at a mathematical role as a means of developing mathematical competences (future) mathematics teachers.
