Meeting of mathematics teachers and students of mathematics - teaching mathematics in context and intermediate relations in the context of competency concept of teaching Participants will become acquainted with the principles of mathematics teaching in context that reflect current curricular requirements, in particular the emphasis on the development of mathematical literacy, critical thinking and the ability to solve problems. During the seminar, specific examples of intermediate projects and activities that link mathematics with natural sciences, as well as other objects, will be presented. However, we do not forget the systematic building of the necessary mathematical knowledge and skills that form the basis for understanding and further development of the pupil. The aim of the seminar is to inspire teachers to create meaningful learning situations that lead to a deeper understanding of mathematics and its usability in everyday life.
