VOLUNTARY ADMISSION
In 2012, Chadima released, together with MCH Trio, the album "100 Minimalistic Poems", which seems to be light years away from the previous album. The shift in approach to melody and arrangements was inaudible, in short, the new wind became more of a whirlwind, while the individual recordings do not attack in any way. More precisely, not on the first plan.
The last album "Svět se razpadá" continues again, on the first listen there is an audible shift in the sound as well - not to mention, it was filmed with Ondřej Ježek, who is featured on Chadim's albums for the first time even as a producer, until then this important function was most likely held by the band leader himself. However, a different voice, and especially ears, definitely benefited. One does not want to believe that Ježek would not have come up with some production idea of his own. With the exception of one song, Papírový aPsolutno, already written by Mejla Hlavsa and Pavel Zajíček, and the MCH Band already playing under the commies, he is the author of the other ten songs by Chadim and Trio, the lyrics are traditionally Wernisch's.
Already the opening, twenty-quarter parentally angry and completely authentic à capella Á, so the young man took revenge... (would he also yell at his daughter like that?), confirms the aforementioned step. The follow-up Coffins go, just like Cvičný let, but this applies to the whole album, they are characterized by imaginative arrangements, the instruments intermingle with all kinds of ugly pre-recorded sounds. And also Wernischian melancholy. Beautiful.
MCH Trio (it's true, on debut a quintet, this time a quartet, but six guests) came out with an album looking forward, and Mikoláš gave himself a nice birthday present with it.
