About event
The Music Center in cooperation with the Trnava Self-Governing Region and the Ján Palárik Theater organizes the 26th International Singing Competition of Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský. The competition will take place 18 - 24 May 2025 at the Ján Palárik Theater in Trnava.
The most important Slovak singing competition is called Nicholas Schneider-Trnava, a prominent Slovak artificial and spiritual song creator, folk song editor and author of the sacral vocal-instrumental compositions.
This year, 93 contestants from nineteen countries from all over the world entered the competition and will compete for a number of interesting prizes.
Other members of the jury are: Gabriela Beňačková (Czech Republic), Wiktor Bockman (Switzerland), Peter Dvorský (Slovakia), Ariana Hollaender-Calix (Austria), Atilla Kiss (Hungary), Jozef Kundlák (Slovakia), Tadeusz Pszonka (Poland) and Martin Zadro (Croatia).
Piano parade is provided by the co -operators Xénia Šuleř Maskalíková (Slovakia), Robert Pechanec (Slovakia) and Lana Bradić (Croatia).
