We invite you to this year's last Meet & Greet, where you will have a unique opportunity to get to know Hungarian artist Júlia Csapó and Peruvian multimedia artist Lorena Solís Bravo. It focuses on the body as the main site of experience and perception. In her work, Júlia focuses primarily on painting – a medium that allows her to move between abstraction, figuration and fiction, while at the same time connecting a wide range of visual references.
LORENA SOLÍS BRAVO is a Peruvian artist working in Amsterdam. Her work combines scientific research, speculative thought and poetry, giving form to films, performances, sculptures and texts. Lorena is here for a two-month residency called PhotoSyntéza – One world, one country, which was created in cooperation with Creative Industry Košice and the Dutch center for new media culture IMPAKT. She is collaborating on the project together with the Košice new media artist Beáta Kolbašovská.

JÚLIA CSAPÓ in her artistic practice explores the intricate and layered relationship between the human and the non-human world, focusing on the body as the primary site of experience and perception. She primarily works with painting, a medium that allows her to move between abstraction, figuration, and fiction, while bringing together a wide range of visual references.
LORENA SOLÍS BRAVO is a Peruvian artist based in Amsterdam. Their practice merges together scientific research, speculative thought, and poetry, giving shape to films, performances, sculptures, and texts. Lorena is here on a two-month residency as part of the PhotoSyntéza – One World, One Landscape project, which was created in collaboration with Creative Industry Košice and the Dutch center for new media culture IMPAKT. She is collaborating on the project with Košice-based new media artist Beáta Kolbašovská.
