About event
🌿 We invite you to the summer edition of Meet & Greet!
Come and spend a pleasant evening in the company of our residents. The Meet & Greet is an informal meeting that offers a unique opportunity to get to know the personalities of the current residency program, get an insight into their creations, inspirations and professional practice and talk with them in an open atmosphere. In his projects, he creates spaces for collective learning, care and ecological imagination. Through curatorial, publication and research formats, he explores the possibilities of coexistence across species and forms of life.
✨ Yury Beryozkin – Belarusian artist working in Prague. Yury combines ceramics, installation, creative writing and participatory art in his multidisciplinary work. In his practice, he blurs the boundaries between mythology, ecology and technology. His central motif is the Tree of Life and mycelial networks, while he often uses clay, text or even his own divination cards to express the themes of collective memory and transformation.
Come get to know each other, discuss and spend a pleasant time in Šopa Gallery.
We look forward to seeing you!
Yury Beryozkin's residency is supported by mobile by the EU4Belarus MOST IV program, which is financed by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe Institute.
