On November 15th, the FLIP Museum, Insectarium, Peculiarium, Zymoglyphic Museum, and Star Tropics Pinball Museum will be running a collaborative half day of community engagement and outreach.
The goal is to uplift the mini museum community by 1) demonstrating to the city how mini museums represent and celebrate Portland's culture of the weird and creative, 2) creating a map/passport system for visitors/tourists to be able to stay connected with all participating mini museums in the city.
Each museum will be featuring objects/activities that represent the core of their museum best, and will be looking to hear from you about your experiences visiting the museums, or what you want to see more of from them.
If you haven't met them before, come on over, have a cookie, touch a bug, build a fort, maybe meet Bigfoot, and let them show you what they are all about!
