About event
Get ready for October's Melodka Free Night – three bands, three genres, and an unforgettable musical experience! 🎸
At the popular Nights, we always present above all talented, certainly promising, and above all rising stars. We mostly look for them in Brno, but we are not afraid to go further afield. The October Free Night will present 3 bands and not one of them should escape your attention! Admission is free, but you support the bands with a voluntary contribution.
Strain Rate
“The paths of the members crossed in the city of Brno so that they could together create this unheard of sonic scenery. At the forefront of this group are captivating vocals in the English language and often even jazzy guitar chords, which complement the colorful sounds of the keyboard. An integral part is also the rhythm section with distinctive bass lines and unmistakable drums."

Black Burley
“First formed on the dark night of Halloween 2011, Black Burley is back on stage! Their music draws from the hard foundations of hard rock, mixed with bluesy emotions and punk energy. After a troubled beginning, the group quickly established itself on the rock scene and gradually made its way to bigger stages, where they jumped ahead of American bands like Blitzkid and Koffin Kats.
In the summer of 2015, Black Burley started working on their debut album. This process was not without complications - the band underwent major line-up changes, with a new singer and bass player joining the group. The result of their hard work is the positively reviewed album Abhuman Rise, which saw the light of day four months later. The ten original songs on the album combine hard guitar riffs with melodic passages and deliver stories that appeal to a wide range of listeners.
After seven years of silence and changes, Black Burley returns to the scene in 2024 with a new line-up, ready to conquer hearts again rock fans. Get ready for the energetic return of one of the most exciting bands on the rock scene today!"

Malpa Omega
After the pandemic put the underground bands Fossil and Tupé into a coma, the two sleepless teammates Venc and Hera decide to put down the sax and bass at the end of 2020 and armed with synths dives into the unexplored landscapes of electronic music.
