About event
Do you feel like a good dose of garage rock in a minimalist package? Come to November's Melodka Free Night, where 2-3-member bands like Black Holes, The Queues and Birth Life Death Drive will spin up a real sound storm! 🎸⚡ Look forward to maximum energy!
At popular Nights, we always present above all talented, certainly promising, and above all rising stars. We mostly look for them in Brno, but we are not afraid to go further afield. November's Melodka Free Night will present 3 bands and not one of them should escape your attention! Admission is free, but you will support the bands with a voluntary contribution.
Black Holes
Prague duo Black Holes announces a return to their roots with their new EP. The two-member band consisting of Kate (bass guitar, vocals) and Martin (drums) christens the new EP Melodka, which brings a rawer guitar sound and was produced by John Fryer (Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails). The first single from the new EP is out on November 1st! You can pre-order it here: https://musicraf.ffm.to/oh-life

The Queues
Together, a brotherly duo of bearded men almost four meters tall with loads of mixed garage rock, punk and stoner. In the case of this power duo, you will certainly not be deprived of even a bit of the sonic intensity that this genre demands. Loud, fuzzed out riffs, combed by the hardest hitting drummer in the league.
