About event
Come to Melodka Free Night, where three bands full of fresh energy await you - post-punk, pop-rock and post-rock will get you going! Admission is voluntary, so don't sit at home and come! 🎸🔥
At the popular Nights, we always present above all talented, certainly promising, and above all rising stars. We mostly look for them in Brno, but we are not afraid to go further afield. The January Melodka Free Night will present 3 bands and not one of them should escape your attention! Admission is free, but you will support the bands with a voluntary contribution.
Drum Honey
post – punk / Znojmo
“The history of everyday life in Czech texts, synths and morava core sets. They solved the absence of drums by connecting an automatic drummer. They've been playing the Pixies for years and now they're going to be annoying for a while with New Order. Other influences include Boy Wonder & The Teen Sensations, Black Marble, Dehd and Petr Fiala. They are preparing to release their first single at the beginning of 2025."

Deychey
pop-rock / Brno
“DEYCHEY is a Czech-Slovak five-member pop-rock-dance band that is new to the music scene. It was founded only in January 2024 as a joint project of four guys from South Moravia and one Slovak guy from Malacie. However, none of the members is a complete beak on stage. The boys went through bands such as Naškrk!, The Rest, Irnis, Nevers, Kosmonopol, The Den, Batatimba, U Gaz Gaz drum show. The group DEYCHEY focuses on pop music with Czech lyrics, energetic rhythm - Jakub Rácek, a strong bass line - Filip Hrnčiar, supported by guitar riffs - Radek Žižlavský, complemented by imaginative electronics and keyboards - František Štefl. David Müller, who moved from the drummer's chair to the post of frontman, took over the role of lead vocals.
The band has so far released two singles with video clips Příběhy and Protipóly. The second mentioned single under the baton of producer Tomáš Fröde, known from the band Imodium. The band plans to release a third single at the beginning of 2025."

Claws Scrabble Letters
post-rock / Brno
Claws Scrabble Letters is a post-rock band inspired by the live, instrumental sounds of Japanese rock. Our music is intended for those who are looking for moments of introspection, but also for those who sometimes like to indulge in freedom. With wide soundscapes and dynamic changes, we invite listeners on a journey into the depths of reflection and a wave of relaxation.
